Child Privacy Notice
Important launch restriction
The current code verifies email ownership but does not yet verify that a person giving guardian consent is an identifiable adult. Therefore, unrestricted under-18 self-registration must remain disabled for a public production launch. School-supervised or guardian-assisted pilot use requires a documented consent process.
What a student account stores
XamAI stores the minimum information needed for login, a learning profile, progress tools, and support. Students should not enter precise home addresses, identity-document numbers, biometric information, health records, or private family information.
What guardians should know
Learning activity can include test results, routines, notes, bookmarks, AI Tutor conversations, community activity, and mentor bookings. The current Parent Portal uses revocable, expiring read-only links and deliberately shares only a limited progress summary. It does not verify adult identity and must not be described as a complete verifiable parental-consent system.
Community and mentor safety
Students must not post contact details, private records, passwords, or verification codes. Direct messaging and file uploads are disabled. Mentor profiles and meeting links in the local prototype are demonstration data; real mentor operations require identity checks, safeguarding procedures, guardian involvement where appropriate, and supervised communication.
AI safety
The AI Tutor is limited to academic assistance, uses rate limits, and warns that answers can be wrong. Students can clear conversation history. A guardian or teacher should review high-impact academic decisions.
Questions and requests
A student or guardian can request correction or deletion through the contact form. Keep the reference number generated after submission.
